Medicare Questions? Area Agency On Aging 1-B MMAP Services Can Help
A MMAP Counselor can: ◦ Explain Medicare options ◦ Compare Medicare Prescription Drug plans and assist with enrollment ◦ Review Medigap insurance options ◦ Clarify Medicare health plan options ◦ Explain Coordination of Employer/Retiree benefits with Medicare ◦ Assist beneficiaries in applying for Medicaid or a Medicare Savings Program ◦ Provide guidance for unpaid medical bills and denied services or equipment ◦ Assist beneficiaries in applying for “Extra Help” with prescription drug cost ◦ Help beneficiaries explore long term care insurance options ◦ Report identity theft, Medicare & Medicaid fraud/abuse, or scams ◦ Provide Presentations on a variety of Medicare topics for your group Our Livingston County AAA 1-B MMAP team is comprised of individuals who live and work in Livingston County. Counselors are Background checked, trained and certified by the State MMAP office and provide confidential unbiased information; they are not connected with any insurance company. Assistance is provided over the phone or in person.

SAVE THE DATE - Community Connect
2015 Livingston County Community Connect will need hundreds of volunteers to serve as Guides, Greeters, Set-Up and Take-Down Volunteers, helping over 1,000 guests in need connect to services, information, and donated goods. Mark your calendars for Saturday, February 7th, at Parker Middle School, in Howell. Set-Up will be on Friday.

Help Stuff The Bus
Volunteers are needed to help with the 19th Annual Stuff the Bus program, at the Howell Walmart on December 5th & 6th. "Bus loads" of gifts and needed items are donated by the community to help low-income residents and local non-profit agencies.
