A MMAP Counselor can: ? Explain Medicare options ? Compare Medicare Prescription Drug plans and assist with enrollment ? Review Medigap insurance options ? Clarify Medicare health plan options ? Explain Coordination of Employer/Retiree benefits with Medicare ? Assist beneficiaries in applying for Medicaid or a Medicare Savings Program ? Provide guidance for unpaid medical bills and denied services or equipment ? Assist beneficiaries in applying for ?Extra Help? with prescription drug cost ? Help beneficiaries explore long term care insurance options ? Report identity theft, Medicare & Medicaid fraud/abuse, or scams ? Howell Area parks and Recreation is looking for a couple of volunteers to help with this family Christmas event, to be held at the Bennett Recreation Center, 925 W. Grand River, Howell, 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m., on Saturday, December 6th.

Livingston County Catholic Charities is looking for volunteers age 14 and older to assist with the "Christmas Blessing Project".

2015 Livingston County Community Connect will need hundreds of volunteers to serve as Guides, Greeters, Set-Up and Take-Down Volunteers, helping over 1,000 guests in need connect to services, information, and donated goods. Mark your calendars for Saturday, February 7th, at Parker Middle School, in Howell. Set-Up will be on Friday.

Volunteers are needed to help with the 19th Annual Stuff the Bus program, at the Howell Walmart on December 5th & 6th. "Bus loads" of gifts and needed items are donated by the community to help low-income residents and local non-profit agencies.
