Volunteer Opportunity Details:

Are you caring and compassionate? Are you looking for a way to give back to your community? Heartland Hospice Needs You! We need friendly visitors to visit with nursing home patients on our hospice service. Many nursing home patients do not have many visitors and they spend the majority of their time alone. Our volunteers give them something to look forward to each week. Whether your reading to them, talking to them like an old friend, listening to their childhood stories or just holding their hand, a volunteer gives comfort and support.

Volunteer must complete a training session, two step TB Test and complete background check. The training and everything included is at NO Cost for our Volunteers.
