The Livingston Hunger Council exists to eradicate hunger in Livingston County. We represent a cross-section of community members from non-profit workers to business owners and concerned citizens. Using the Michigan Blueprint to End Hunger, our mission is to provide access to nutritious food for all

Description:
The Livingston County Hunger Council exists to eradicate the gap between meals needed and meals provided in our community.

The Council has adopted the Michigan Blueprint to End Hunger published by the Food Bank Council of Michigan in 2007. Using the blueprint, the hunger council has enacted a plan to provide access to nutritious food to all members of the community who struggle to find enough.

History:
The Livingston County Hunger Council was established in October, 2009, as a project of the Basic Needs Workgroup
