Volunteer Livingston, a program of the Livingston County United Way, had been helping volunteers find volunteer opportunities in Livingston County since 2002. Volunteer opportunities have for agencies in Livingston County have been posted on the site, giving volunteers the chance to learn about the agencies and the volunteer opportunities, along with contact information to get further information or to sigh up to volunteer. Volunteer postings are also available in the Sunday edition of the Daily Press and Argus, and in the Friday edition of the Community News.
2009 will be an exciting time as we start the Volunteer Livingston Volunteer Center. Details will soon follow as to the services that we will provide for volunteers and the agencies they support.
